Our commitment to making SkyVolo accessible to all users
Last updated: 1 January 2025
SkyVolo is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We continually review and improve our digital accessibility as part of our ongoing development process.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. 'Partially conformant' means some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known gaps.
We have implemented the following accessibility measures: semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy; keyboard navigability throughout the website and claim form; sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text); alt text for all informative images; focus indicators for interactive elements; and ARIA labels on interactive components. Our claim form has been tested with screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
We are aware of the following limitations: some third-party embedded components (chat widget) may not be fully accessible; some older PDF documents linked from the website have not been tagged for accessibility; and some complex interactive charts use colour as the sole means of conveying information (we plan to add text alternatives).
If you experience any accessibility barriers on our website, please contact us at accessibility@skyvolo.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days. If you need information in a different format (large print, audio, easy read), we will do our best to accommodate your request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your accessibility feedback, you may contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) Helpline at 0808 800 0082, or use the government's reporting form at www.equalityadvisoryservice.com.
This website uses HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. We have tested accessibility using: WAVE (WebAIM), axe DevTools, Lighthouse, manual keyboard navigation testing, and screen reader testing on Windows (NVDA) and macOS/iOS (VoiceOver).
If you have any questions about this policy or your rights, our team is here to help.
